Bravo for Bach!
J.S. Bach continues to fascinate us two hundred and fifty years after his death. An innovative composer from his early years, his music is a challenge to any performer who wishes to perform it successfully. In Bravo for Bach! Carolina Pro Musica presents some of their own Bach favorites especially those which make use of the diversity of this small ensemble. The collection opens with the only Bach sonata for two flutes and continuo, includes familiar vocal favorites, a selection of keyboard works and Aria from Cantata 151 where the traverso and soprano express the wonder and happiness of Jesus coming into the world for all peoples.
